Travel arrangements will be made by Star Tours of Ohio, Pemberville. The company is owned and operated by Mr. James Opelt, a former teacher. Mr. Opelt will be accompanying the group to Chicago. Star Tours of Ohio is celebrating 10 years in the group tour business.

The cost of the trip is $355 per person based on quad occupancy. All payments will be made directly to Star Tours of Ohio at the above address. Payments should be made by check. Checks must be made payable to Star Tours of Ohio and include the name of the trip participant in the memo line. This is very important so that the payment gets credited to the correct person. The school will receive periodic payment updates from Star Tours of Ohio. There will be a $30 charge for all returned checks. The cost for adults wishing to have a room for two will be $485 per person.

Payments must be made in three installments. Payments must be received in the Star Tours of Ohio office on or before the due date. The gtrip may be paid in full and advance payments will be accepted. There is never a service charge. The payment schedule is as follows:

November 17, 2008 $100
January 15, 2009 $130
March 15, 2009 $125

Participants who cancel after March 1, 2009 will receive no return of funds. Emergency canccellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis but may not include a full refund. Cancellations before March 1, 2009 will receive all funds received in the Star Tours of Ohio office less a $30 processing fee.

Participants have the opportunity to secure their own travel insurance on a person-to-person basis. Star Tours of Ohio will provide travel insurance information through Travelex. Star Tours of Ohio is in no way connected with Travelex. Some schools cover students while on school-sponsored trips. You should check with the school to confirm this. Star Tours of Ohio carries a millino dollars in liability insurance and the bus company, Lakefront Lines, Inc., carries ten million dollars in insurance coverage.

Star Tours of Ohio acts only as an agent for passengers in all matters connected with hotel and dinning services, sightseeing tours, other suppliers of servies and transportation wheter by motor coach or any other means. As agent, Star Tours of Ohio, its agents, officers, and employees are not rewponsible for any damage expense or inconvenience caused by delayed or cancelled transport services, changes of schedule, strikes, weather, or other conditions beyond our contgrol. All such losses or expenses will be borne by the passenger. All suppliers or servies are independedt of, and are not owned by, Star Tours of Ohio.

Only one large suitcase per person is allowed. Each passenger who assumes responsibility for it at all times may also carry a small carrying case or bag. Althrough every effort is made to handle passenger's luggage as carefully as possible, Star Tours of Ohio is not responsible for loss or damage due to theft, hotel or carrier handling. Baggage is at 'owners risk' throughout the tour.
